Preface.

Once, as usual, I was running cows, which belong to the headman of my village, to a waterhole. When we – that's I and the cows – got to the place, something extraordinary happened.

Some strange character emerged from the waterhole!

Then the alien thoughts appeared in my mind. I was supposed to write down these thoughts, but I didn't have any writing utensils. So everything I wrote down with a stick on fresh cow pies. After this has been done, I was instructed by Oannes – this strange character said that he was so called – as to what I should do with these records. Firstly, I was to put the initial fragment on the web.

[At that time, I had no idea what this web was. Fortunately, the son of the headman of my village knew it.]

Secondly, all the rest I'm to pass to some international publishing house.

[The whole consists of 52 short tales with 100 drawings.]

But only if such publishing house turns to me. If it doesn't happen, I'm to burn all of it in my oven. Then Earthlings will live in

darkness

yet for a long time – that's what Oannes said.

P.S. I'm just a simple peasant. That's why the thoughts, which Oannes transmitted to me telepathically, I wrote down in simple words.

P.S.2 I won't burn Oannes' tales, even if no publisher turns to me. The headman of my village said that every month – on the first day of each month – I should post another Oannes' tale on this website.

P.S.3 We – that's I and the headman of my village – are not afraid of Oannes, for he wouldn't be back in 5,200 years.

P.S.4 Oannes' tales were (and they will be) put on this website by the son of the headman of my village. So, don't expect anything special.

P.S.5 Oannes telepathically turned over to me far more than his tales. All this I wrote down with a stick on fresh cow pies. And soon I'll post it on other websites.
